My work is grounded in over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through career development, personal growth, and major life transitions across post-secondary institutions, the public sector, and non-profits.

Alongside this professional foundation, my approach is shaped by my own lived experience. As a Muslim, South Asian woman who moved to Canada as a teenager, I know firsthand what it means to navigate identity, embrace change, and honor your heritage while building a new life.

Like the women I partner with, I live in these layers every day.

I know the reality of raising a family, the constant nurturing that relationships require, and the frustration of feeling stuck in a career wondering if you should just be happy with what you have, even when you crave more. Having navigated these shifts myself, I deeply respect the courage it takes to look inward and choose a different path.

Outside of coaching, I manage the curriculum and facilitate a Management Co-op course at the University of Toronto. Whether guiding a student in the classroom or partnering with a client, the purpose remains the same: supporting individuals to uncover their potential and realign their paths with deeper meaning.

Educational Background

Trained in the psychology, grounded in real life

My approach brings together real-life experience with a deep understanding of our internal worlds. With a Master's in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Toronto, alongside coach training through the Adler Graduate Professional School, my methodology is firmly grounded in positive psychology and solution-focused tools.

Every part of how I coach traces back to named psychological research, from narrative identity and self-efficacy to solution-focused practice.

While coaching is very different from therapy, this background ensures conversations won't just look for quick fixes. While therapy often looks back to heal past wounds and understand why you are where you are, coaching looks at where you are today and asks, "Where do we go from here?"

I use this psychological foundation and coaching tools to look beneath the surface, exploring what is really going on and turning those insights into practical, everyday change. The style is collaborative, grounded, and entirely focused on helping individuals move forward with clarity, equipping them with tools that serve them long-term.
